It’s the kind of thing you don’t realize you need until you experience it. The Kaleidoscope Tour by Lauren Daigle was one such experience – a vibrant mosaic of funky fresh band members, soulful background vocals, friendship bracelets, signed shoes, and, of course, life-changing songs.

On Saturday, April 13, the United Supermarkets Arena was graced by Daigle’s presence, etching itself as one of the most memorable concerts I’ve ever attended. Before Daigle took the stage for her mesmerizing hour-and-a-half performance, opener Victory Boyd captivated the audience with her heartfelt and emotional renditions, proving herself as a rising powerhouse in Christian music.

From the moment Daigle stepped onto the stage, belting out hit after hit with These Are The Days, Waiting, and New, her presence was undeniable. But what truly set this concert apart was her connection with every person in the venue. Watching kids race to the stage, beaming as they shared handmade friendship bracelets with Daigle, left a lasting impression, one that made me realize the depth of her impact.

More that an artist, Daigle became everyone’s friend that night, a role model for people of all ages. Between sharing stories and passions of teaching and transforming the lives of young people, she dazzled with her powerful vocal range and a diverse set of song selections. Whether it was the soothing melodies of  Be Okay and Hold On To Me, the energetic dance breaks during Still Rolling Stones, or the emotional resonance of my personal favorite, Rescue, Daigle proved her worthiness of the numerous accolades and supporters she’s garnered over the years.

To finish off the night Daigle performed her chart-topping hit You Say off of her third studio album Look Up Child. I mean this is what everyone was anticipating and it sure delivered. One of, in my opinion, the most powerful Christian Pop songs ever, this song was the perfect ending to a perfect night of praise.

Whether you entered the venue a fan of her Christian-rooted music or not, you left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and filled with an amplified sense of joy. Music, when done well, transcends mere beats and lyrics – it becomes transformative. And Lauren Daigle has mastered this artistry, her light shines bright on stage and her message of love, grace, and kindness deserves to be shared on the grandest of stages.
