Album Review: “DYE” by Together Pangea

DYE is the fourth album from alternative group Together Pangea. This album has a softer rock sound and a bit of a classic rock sound while also sounding mainstream.

The music breaks are good. They do not go on for too long and they don’t ruin the flow of the songs. The introductions are appropriate length. They are long enough to introduce the listener to the sound but not too long to where it makes the songs drag.

The song “Cold Water” is a bit repetitive. The title is said far too often. There is a part of the song where “cold water” is repeated sixteen times in a row. There is a music break halfway through and it should stop there.

Lyrically this album is decent the artist is trying to give meaning to these songs and that should be appreciated. “Rapture” is a good idea of a song that has great lyrics. It is easy to follow and has a nice beat.

Overall, this is a decent album. People who like an alternative rock will like this album in its entirety and newer listeners may find something worth liking.
