Texas Health Services says COVID-19 vaccines begin arriving today

The Texas Department of State Health Services says the first round of the COVID-19 vaccine begins arriving today.

The report yesterday said to start things off, one-point-four-million doses of the Pfizer vaccine will begin to gradually arrive to the state starting today.

This week, around two-hundred-24-thousand doses of the first lot will be distributed to more than a hundred-health care providers around the state. 

This first batch is intended for frontline health care workers.
