Rangers Making Plans To Sell Tickets For 2020 Games

The Rangers are making plans to sell tickets for fans to watch games at Globe Life Field this season.  Governor Greg Abbott has approved Lone Star State pro teams having 50 percent stadium capacity.  The Dallas Morning News also reports MLB has authorized the Rangers having fans in the stands under state guidelines. Until then, the Rangers will utilize new Globe Life Field beginning Wednesday for team workouts. They will also use their old stadium, Globe Life Park facilities across the street. They will submit a 60-player participation roster by Sunday. The 60-game season beginning July 23rd or 24th will consist of 40 games against AL West opponents, the Astros, Angels, A’s and Mariners and 20 against NL teams Rockies, Dodgers, Giants, D-Backs and Padres. Rosters will be expanded to 30 for the first two weeks.
