NFL issues suspensions from Steelers and Browns helmet-swinging brawl

After the brutal fight near the end of Thursday Night Football, the NFL has handed out their punishments.

Browns’ former first overall pick and former Texas A&M Aggie has been suspended for the rest of the season without pay, for grabbing Steelers’ quarterback, Mason Rudolph’s helmet, ripping it off of his head, and then hit Rudolph with it. The immaturity and outrageous acts of Garrett have gotten comments from all over the league and sports in general for the horrible events that happened last night.

After the helmet swing, Steeler’s lineman Maurkice Pouncey came over and began to punch and kick Garrett’s helmet. He has been suspended for three games for his actions.

Then after Rudolph got hit by his own helmet, the rookie threw up his hands to get the referees involved, Browns’ Larry Ogunjobi ran over and trucked Rudolph to the ground while Pouncey was kicking Garrett.

I know…very intense.

Despite the atrocious fight, the Cleveland Browns defeated the Pittsburg Steelers 21-7.
