Harden leads Rockets with 44 points to beat the Grizzlies

James Harden was without his best friend, Russell Westbrook, as he carried the Rockets to beat Ja Morant and the Grizzlies, 107-100.

The Beard put up 44 points with 10 rebounds and was 4 assists shy of a triple-double. His shooting percentage has gotten a little better as he hit 7 out of 16 three-pointers last night but did miss 5 free-throws.

Eric Gordon was the next leading scorer with 16 points with knocking down 3 treys in the victory. Daniel House Jr. had a great performance as he got 36 minutes and scored 15 points with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks on the night.

The second overall pick of the 2019 draft, Ja Morant is the real deal. He posterized Houston’s, P.J. Tucker, and ended the night with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 steals. He shot an impressive 62% from the field.

Dillion Brooks helped out Morant as he had 17 points in the defeat but missed all seven of his three-point attempts. Six total players from the Grizzlies had 10 or more points as the Grizzlies played a solid team game, but they couldn’t defend the barrage of offense from the Rockets.
