Trump: Back To The Moon, Then To Mars

(Washington, DC)  —  President Trump wants the U.S. to go back to the moon and then to Mars.

Trump signed his first space policy directive at the White House yesterday. He said it is time to start dreaming big again. The directive instructs NASA to start making plans for a resumption of manned treks to the moon and a new mission to Mars.

It has been 45 years since the last crewed U.S. mission on the moon.

The President said he wants the U.S. to be the driving force for the space industry. He called the space directive very exciting and said it will create jobs.
