Bill McRaven Remains As UT Chancellor With No Contract

(Austin, TX) — Bill McRaven is going to stay on as University of Texas Chancellor, despite not having a contract. A UT System spokesperson tells “The Texas Tribune” McRaven has not asked for an extension, and does not require a contract to stay chancellor. McRaven was the first chancellor to get a contract, but UT says it was just to secure his employment. Most other university chancellors in the state have contracts.
