Strange: Write-In Campaign Against Moore “Highly Unlikely”

(Washington, DC) — Alabama Senator Luther Strange says it’s “highly unlikely” that he’ll launch a write-in campaign against Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore. Moore is mired in accusations of sexual misconduct with minors and has lost support from many Senate Republicans. Strange was appointed to the Senate seat vacated by now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions, but he lost a GOP primary campaign to Moore to fill the seat. Moore has been adamant in his denial of the allegations.
