(Washington, DC) — President Trump says he’s “awarding” one-million dollars to the City of Las Vegas, to help cover overtime payments for local law enforcement officials.
Trump tweeted today that he was happy to announce the money would go to officers responding to last Sunday’s mass shooting, that left more than 58 people dead and hundreds injured.
The tweet did not specify whether the money would come from the President himself, or from federal funds.
