(Houston, TX) — Tilman Fertitta is now the new owner of the Houston Rockets. The local billionaire also acquired Clutch City Sports and Entertainment along with the NBA team. The Rockets made the announcement on Friday, the day after the NBA Board of Governors gave Fertitta’s purchase their unanimous approval. Fertitta paid Les Alexander an NBA record two-point-two-billion dollars for the franchise.
