Production Suspended On House Of Cards Season Six

(Los Angeles, CA)  —   “House of Cards” is shuffled aside. The show about political intrigue in Washington is being suspended until further notice.

In a statement, Netflix said it was suspending production until it has time to review and address the sexual assault allegations leveled against the series’ star Kevin Spacey.

Yesterday, the company announced the sixth season would be its last. Netflix said it was sending executives to Baltimore, where the show is currently in production, to meet with members of the cast and crew.

It was reported yesterday that actor Anthony Rapp told Buzzfeed that Spacey sexually assaulted him when he was a teenager.
