ESPN Suspends Jemele Hill For Social Media Violation

Jemele Hill

(Undated)  —  ESPN is suspending host Jemele Hill for violating their social media policy.

Multiple outlets report the network has suspended Hill for two weeks after she called for a boycott of advertisers aligned with the Dallas Cowboys after owner Jerry Jones said players would be benched for not standing for the national anthem.

She was under fire last month when she called President Trump a white supremacist on Twitter. In 2011, ESPN agreed to pay the NFL $15 billion to air NFL games.
