White House: Obama Very Disappointed About Immigration, Congress

(Washington, DC)  —  As he prepares to leave office, President Obama is “profoundly disappointed” that Congress has not passed comprehensive immigration reform.

So said White House spokesman Josh Earnest in his daily briefing.

Earnest accused House Republican leaders of following a cynical, partisan strategy to kill reform.

The House refused to consider a bipartisan immigration bill that was passed by the Senate in 2013.
