(Washington, DC) — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says repealing and replacing Obamacare will definitely happen in 2017.
McConnell told a briefing today that the repeal should happen fairly soon, setting the stage for deliberations about what to replace it with.
He suggested that it could happen in the spring as part of broader legislation that includes tax reforms.
McConnell called the healthcare reform law a failure and said, “Doing nothing is not an option.”
