Bush, Dole On Hand Today For Pearl Harbor Event

(College Station, TX)  — This year we recognize the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941.

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day honors all of those who lost their lives serving the country during the attack.

Over 35-hundred Americans lost their lives or were wounded on that day.

Former President George H.W. Bush and Senator Bob Dole, both World War Two veterans, will be in College Station today for ceremonies marking the 75th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor Attack.

The events at the George Bush 41 Center at Texas A&M University include a flyover by vintage World War Two aircraft and a tour of the library’s new “Pearl Harbor Remembered” exhibit.

A newly restored video of President Roosevelt’s “Day of Infamy” speech will be played.

The “Pearl Harbor Remembered” exhibit will remain open through December 31st.
