Dan Pope was elected to serve as Mayor of Lubbock on May 7, 2016. Dan founded Benchmark Business Solutions in 1994, and grew his business enterprise into the most successful Xerox Agent-Dealer in the country, creating over 70 jobs in Lubbock. Dan currently serves as Chief Development Officer of Covenant Health System. Mayor Pope has been an active member of the Lubbock Community for more than 20 years. Dan is an eighth-generation Texan, and an Eagle Scout.
