Ex-Sooners Coach Switzer Doesn’t Want Houston In Big 12

(Undated) — Former Sooners Coach Barry Switzer does not want University of Houston in the Big 12.
He tells “Austin American-Statesman” it’d be a mistake to let the Cougars join the conference because it would allow them to recruit players from all across Texas.
Switzer says that’d make it harder for OU to recruit in Texas.
He also says it was a mistake to let TCU join the Big 12. Commissioners will vote later this month on whether the conference will expand.
