Former Biogenesis of America owner Tony Bosch has been sentenced to four years in prison by a federal judge on Tuesday. Bosch pleaded guilty in October to a charge of conspiracy to distribute illegal drugs, including steroids and testosterone to Major League Baseball players. Bosch ran a now-defunct anti-aging clinic in Florida that was at the center of an extensive investigation by MLB in the summer of 2013. The probe led to the suspensions of 15 players for using performance-enhancing substances, most notably Alex Rodriguez, who sat out the entire 2014 season as a penalty for his role in the scandal.
