Water has flooded all 3 floors in the Mass Communications building.  Tech Police responded to the fire alarm signal going off around 4:30pm Saturday.  They arrived to hear water running in hallways from the 3rd floor.

Tech grounds maintenance were called and found a  sprinkler head had popped off underneath an air duct on the third floor across from the student radio station.   No word on how and why the sprinkler head popped off.  According to Tech grounds,  the cold was not a factor for the sprinkler head but no information yet from the plumber called out.

Texas Tech’s grounds are moving swiftly to get the water vaccumed up from all flooded areas for Monday’s classes.  No electronics were damaged, just light fixtures and ceilings.
