Texas Tech College of Ag Cancels Bernard Rollin Lecture

Texas Tech University’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources has cancelled the Agriculture Awareness Week classroom presentations and special lecture by Bernard Rollin, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday (April 23).

Due to inclement weather in the Denver area, Rollin, one of the nation’s groundbreaking bioethicists, cannot travel to Lubbock. The college hopes to reschedule him for a time in the near future.

Rollin was scheduled to speak on “Animal Rights as a Main Stream Phenomenon: Emerging Societal Ethics for Animals.”
