The state party had earlier planned to hold an in-person convention in San Antonio.  Among the scheduled speakers are presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The Democratic National Convention has been delayed from July to August, and organizers are considering making it a virtual meeting as well.  Texas Republicans plan to hold an in-person state convention in July.
