Devil’s Advocate

Dr. Kelly Kaufhold, a veteran in radio and television in 3 states and Journalism/EMC Faculty member, partners with several enterprising Texas Tech students to bring the Lubbock community “The Devil’s Advocate,” a satire talk show on 88.1 KTXT-FM “The Raider,” the student radio station at Texas Tech University!

These political heavyweights go head-to-head each week on a variety of different topics — but they never know which side they’ll be on until the show goes live! Games of chance decide who will be on what side of an issue or event, whether it’s liberal or conservative, socialist or capitalist, green or industrial.

With special guests from the university and Lubbock, as well as special calls from each one’s secret arsenal of backers to destroy the other’s argument, the Devil’s Advocate brings together entertainment and REAL politics in a way that isn’t just yelling at invisible chairs.
