KTXT FM Sports Update LogoTech soccer is in Gainesville tonight, ready to take on Auburn in the second round of the NCAA Soccer Championships. Tech (15-3-2) looks to get past the second round for the first time in program history. The Red Raiders are coming off a first round victory over Prairie View A&M, in which the Red Raiders defeated the Panthers 8-0. The match will take place at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium at 2 p.m. on ESPN3.

 
The Lady Raiders are in action tonight, taking on Arizona at 7 p.m. at the United Supermarkets Arena. Tech, who are 2-0 on the season, look to defeat a 0-1 Wildcats team to achieve their third victory of the season, which would be their best start since the 2011-2012 campaign. The game can be heard on the Texas Tech Radio Network, as well as streamed through TexasTech.tv.



 
Tech football is looking to score their fourth victory of the season, taking on Iowa State in Ames on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Red Raiders are having their worst season in recent history, at 3-7 overall, and 1-6 in conference play, with their only victory coming against Kansas on October 18. Both teams (Iowa State, 2-7 overall, 0-6 in conference play) have officially been eliminated from post season play. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Network.



 
The Red Raider volleyball team hosts their final home match of the season, taking on Oklahoma at the USA. Coming off a loss to TCU in Fort Worth on Wednesday, Tech hopes to end their home season on a high note after dropping the last eight matches, a most in conference play. First tip against the Sooners will take place at 3 p.m.



 
Men’s basketball is also in action at the USA on Saturday, only they are looking to defeat Missouri State at 7 p.m. The Red Raiders are coming off a loss to Louisiana State University, 69-64 in overtime. The game can be seen on Fox Sports Southwest Plus.

The Cross Country team participates in the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. on Saturday. Time TBA.
